This project is a graphic design concept for a fictional concert featuring the late Japanese producer and DJ, Nujabes, at The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles on May 17, 2025. Nujabes, whose real name was Jun Seba, was a visionary artist known for pioneering the lo-fi hip-hop and jazz-hop genre, blending smooth jazz, soulful melodies, and intricate beats into a meditative and atmospheric sound. His music, featured prominently in the anime Samurai Champloo, continues to inspire listeners worldwide.

The visually dominant element of the design is the artist’s name written in Japanese (ヌジャベ ス)
using a halftone effect, evoking a nostalgic and organic texture reminiscent of vintage print media.
The typography and monochromatic color will reflect the ethereal and calming nature of his music,
incorporating muted tones and abstract elements. This design aims to pay homage to Nujabes’
enduring legacy while capturing the intimate and immersive atmosphere of his sound.
